Call sheet
The number most likely to ruin your morning is the one you skimmed: your call time is when production expects you, not when you plan to reach the neighbourhood.
A call sheet is the working schedule and practical map for the day. Backstage describes it as the daily production document carrying times, locations and contacts. A large one can look dense; you do not need to memorise every department to know what you need.
Find five things first
Your name or role, call time, exact address, access or transport notes, and the contact to use if something goes wrong. Then add any wardrobe, hair/makeup or preparation note that applies to you. Check whether the meeting point is the studio itself or a separate entrance or unit base.
If the call sheet conflicts with the latest message from your booker, do not pick the version you prefer. Get it confirmed. Production may have moved an hour or an entrance between versions.
Save it offline before leaving. A PDF on your phone is more useful than a link buried in a chat when reception disappears outside a studio gate.
