UGC usage rights: creation, posting and paid ads are not the same thing
Creation fee and usage are separate decisions. A clear scope makes both pricing and delivery easier to understand.

Start with the scope of use
Four details usually change the value of the agreement: who can use the content, where it can appear, for how long and in which territories. “Usage included” is not very informative until those points are known.
Organic, paid and creator-posted are different uses
A brand posting a video on its own social feed is not the same as running it as an ad. Partnership Ads, whitelisting, Spark Ads and other paid amplification should be named in the agreement rather than assumed.
Raw footage gives the client more freedom
Source clips, alternate openings and unedited takes let a client create new versions after delivery. Treat them as separate deliverables when they are requested.
If you publish sponsored content to your own audience, advertising-disclosure rules also apply. The relevant guidance depends on the market; the official FTC, ARPP and ASA/CAP resources below are good starting points.
